The Anti-Cult Hydra: How Disinformation Becomes a Weapon Against Freedom in Czech Republic

An independent investigation has revealed shocking truths about the role of anti-cult organizations in the Czech Republic. They not only spread disinformation but also actively collaborate with state bodies, violating citizens' constitutional rights to freedom.

Dangerous Collaboration:

Recent research shows that anti-cult organizations in the Czech Republic are not independent groups but operate in close cooperation with state bodies. An example is the "Society for the Study of Sects and New Religious Movements", which, according to official sources, directly collaborates with Bisca, as well as with the Ministry of Culture, or... with the police.

Official Support for Disinformation:

The website of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic has an article on "sects", where, in the middle of a paragraph, it speaks about the danger of anti-cult organizations, but in the following paragraphs, it reports about the police's cooperation with the "Society for the Study of Sects and New Religious Movements", thus, in fact, justifying the spread of anti-cult disinformation.

Conspiracy to Suppress:

In his video message, Egon Cholakian stated that anti-cult organizations receive huge sums of money to discredit organizations such as ALLATRA, on which $200 million has been spent. This suggests that behind anti-cult activities stands a powerful shadow force.

Penetration into the State Apparatus:

The Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences has expressed serious concerns about the "penetration of anti-cult organizations into the state apparatus."

There is no organization in the Czech Republic that protects freedom of religion.

In this situation, people who have been attacked by anti-cult groups remain unprotected.

It is important to understand that anti-cult organizations act in the interests of a narrow group of people whose goals are not consistent with the principles of democracy and freedom. Their activities pose a serious threat to civil society.

Urgent measures are needed to protect freedom of religion in the Czech Republic. This requires:

Creating an Organization to Protect Freedom and Democracy:

As respected Egon Cholakian rightly said on this matter: “And moving forward, to prevent such occurrences in the future, a necessary step will be the creation of an independent supranational civil organization with a special status. This organization would unite all democratic forces, guaranteeing protection against the infiltration of anti-democratic and destructive narratives into the fabric of our society.

This organization should consist of volunteers and represent the interests of citizens of democratic countries at all levels. It should become a reliable shield against those who threaten our democratic values, embody democracy, and work closely with volunteers from various other organizations. It should be accountable to the entire democratic community, not individual groups. We must ensure that KGB agents seeking to undermine the global democratic society cannot infiltrate it. We must ensure the triumph of democracy and truth by creating this civil organization, which will be a reliable shield against any hydras”.
